, we pride ourselves on providing quality products and dignified service at an affordable cost. We know the emotional and financial burdens can be overwhelming when you lose a loved one. Our goal is to alleviate as much confusion as possible during this time by providing honest and comprehensive information regarding funeral and cremation arrangements.

Our service doesn't stop at the funeral. We offer an array of aftercare information and services ranging from brochures, books and grief support references to grief recovery seminars and holiday remembrance programs. Each December we display our Trees of Remembrance at both Gray's West & Company and Driskill Memorial Chapel. We encourage families to bring an ornament to place on the tree in memory of their loved one. We inscribe it with name and dates, store it
HISTORY
Gray's West & Co. Pioneer Chapel operates out of the beautiful historical Johns home. This is a Colonial Revival style home built in 1903 by Oregon architect, John Bennes for Charles Johns. Earl and Maude West purchased this home in the 1930's for their funeral home, which was an estabilished business that dates back to 1887. Today the business is owned and operated by Dennis and Darlene Teskey, natives of Oregon. Their goal is to remain the most respected funeral home in Eastern Oregon by providing quality caring service with cost conscious pricing.

Driskill Memorial Chapel was started by Carl Driskill in 1936. Wallace Williams purchased Driskill Memorial Chapel in 1967 after the death of Carl Driskill and operated the funeral home until 1996 when Dennis & Darlene Teskey purchased the business. Today, the funeral home is managed with pride and dignity by son, Troy Hanson.

MISSION STATEMENT
